Whether mold makers or CNC operators, we’re all aware that each step of the process is essential in delivering a quality model or prototype. A commitment to excellence at all stages of the modeling process is clearly one of the reasons Wielgus is one of the industry’s top-rated paint and finishing shops. Another reason, quite frankly, is our finishers.

The art of finishing (and it is an art) ultimately rests in the skilled hands and trained eyes of each Wielgus finisher. Developing these talents is a core value at Wielgus – a tradition that began 70 years ago when Ray Wielgus first opened the doors to our shop.

Today that commitment to quality had grown beyond Ray’s workbench and found its way not only into the hands of our finishers but their hearts, as well.
